What a beautiful town this is.
We decided to go up to St Ives for a few reasons – I can’t remember them all now, but seaside and the Tate were among them. We left straight after breakfast, and when we arrived, it was the closest thing to Mediterranean I have seen in England: bright blue skies, white soft sands, colourful homes, and cute galleries and cafes lining the streets.
We spent most of the time in the sunshine on the beach, playing Smite (basically throwing sticks at sticks as someone explained to me), while the boys dipped into the freezing cold water. Us ladies watched them from a safe distance.
After the sun significantly burnt our faces and shoulders, we headed into town for a walk around its cute and windy streets grabbing an ice cream as we meandered. I adore this town. There are so many cute cafes and restaurants, old pubs and galleries! I could have stayed much longer here. We didn’t even go into the Tate that is right on the seaside.
Adorable town with the cutest restaurants. A must visit for sure.
